Tipplasty

Tipplasty is an operation performed to correct deformities at the tip of the nose.Tipplasty surgery is a correction procedure performed only on the cartilage at the tip of the nose. With this operation, the nose wings can be narrowed,  nose tips that are drooping, long, thick, narrow, wide or high can be reshaped, and the angle of the nose in relation with the lip can be changed in this way. This operation can be applied to patients over the age of 18. Swelling and bruising are almost impossible to be seen in tıpplasty operations, and the edema that may occur will pass in a short period of time.Closed Rhinoplasty Technique is used in tıpplasty operations. After the operation, there is no scar left on the tip of the nose. The duration of these operations, which are performed without the use of any buffers, varies between 30-60 minutes. Patients, who do not need to be hospitalized after the surgery, can return back to their social and work lives in no time.After the tıpplasty Operation, numbness in the tip of the nose is amongst the effects that can be seen. This situation will improve in 2-3 months. If necessary, the patients are taught how to massage their noses. Lenses can be used 3 days after the operation. Light-framed glasses can be used after 1 month and heavy-framed glasses can be used after 3 months. Depending on the swelling and crusts on the nose after the surgery, some mild nasal congestion might be experienced. This situation decreases and disappears in about 2 months.After the operation, patients can start doing light exercises within 2 weeks, heavy exercises within 6 weeks, and the tip of the nose takes its final shape within 6 months to a year.
